Reiko Hombo
Guest Teacher
Born in Japan, Reiko moved to Melbourne after being accepted into The Australian Ballet School and graduated with an Advanced Diploma of Dance.
Accepting a contract with The Australian Ballet, she rose through the ranks quickly, to the prestigious position of Senior Artist.
Dancing in an array of classical and contemporary works, some of her favourite roles were Clara and Sugarplum Fairy in Sir Peter Wright's The Nutcracker ; Kitri in Don Quixote; Swanilda in Coppelia; Firebird in Firebird by Graeme Murphy; Gamzatti in Stanton Welch's La Bayadare and Madam Butterfly in Madam Butterfly by Stanton Welch.

Dancing since she was 5 years old, Reiko has recently retired from the stage, and now enjoys teaching ballet and inspiring the next generation of stars.
