Stephen Agisilaou

Bringing a diverse, creative and unique flavor to dance, this Melbourne-born choreographer began his dance training in his late teenage years.

Moving to Canada to expand his horizons, Stephen worked alongside acclaimed choreographers, Joshua Beamish, Amber Funk-Barton and Amy Gardner with MOVE: The Company.
Dancing principal roles, he progressed to Co-Director of 'the MOVE Dance Projec't', and was instrumental in organising regional tours throughout British Columbia.
Dedicated to supporting the Australian dance industry, Stephen created Vertical Shadows Dance Company, which provides an outlet for his choreographic voice.

With a penchant for musical theatre, Stephen has choreographed many productions including the Melbourne premiere of the Tony Award-winning Spring Awakening; the Melbourne production of Blood Brothers; the revival of the Green Room award winning musical Prodigal, to name a few.
Commissioned by some of the world's largest organisations - Samsung, Red Bull, The Australian Open, P&O International, The Venetian / Sands Hotel Macau, Stereosonic Music Festival and Dance2XS - he was also employed by Opera Australia, assisting in the casting of South Pacific.

Stephen is currently Artistic Director for Clairy Brown's upcoming music videos F.U.B & Spiral, and recently released a short film NEW YORK CITY which was screened at international film festivals.
